Project Overview
The Islamic Community App is a comprehensive mobile application designed to enhance the spiritual and social experience of Muslims worldwide. The app provides a convenient platform for users to manage their daily prayer schedules, access accurate and up-to-date information about Islamic holidays and events, connect with other Muslims and participate in community events and activities. The app also offers a user-friendly interface that caters to the needs of all age groups and technical levels, making it accessible and easy to use for everyone. Additionally, the app includes features such as news feeds, donation options, and resources for learning about Islamic teachings and practices. The app aims to provide a one-stop solution for all Islamic community needs, fostering a sense of unity and belonging among Muslims worldwide.
My Role
As the Senior UX/UI Designer for SynergiTask, I orchestrated the design strategy and interface creation, integrating AI insights to deliver a user-centric project management tool. My focus was on crafting an intuitive user experience, ensuring that the powerful AI features felt natural and accessible for all users.
Scope of Work and Timeline
The design process for SynergiTask was iterative and user-focused, beginning with in-depth research to understand the pain points in project management. This was followed by sketching and wireframing to lay out the foundational user interface, with particular emphasis on simplicity and functionality. Our research phase was comprehensive, beginning with in-depth interviews to understand the daily rituals and digital interactions of mosque attendees and Muslim users. We analyzed usage patterns within existing apps, collected feedback on pain points, and gauged expectations for digital religious services. Market analysis provided insights into competitive offerings, while workshops with mosque authorities helped to align the app's features with the mosques' operational goals. Surveys within the broader Muslim community were conducted to understand their spiritual and communal needs. The synthesis of this research informed our design decisions, ensuring that our solutions were deeply rooted in the actual requirements of both the mosques and their communities
